One friend commented that the emotion is strong. Does anyone concur..?/ ..lol It was meant to be that way, anyway.

Yeah, sir! MS Paint for life! It's good to see someone else still rockin the Paint in this modern age where Photoshop dominates all. Curse you Adobe! 
After full viewing your work (which is actually pretty good if you drew it all freehand), I agree that the emotion is indeed strong; the anger can be visually seen rising up and out of the person's blonde-and-flowing dreadlocks. The confusion of the horse is also portrayed clearly. Plus, those purple hills also adds intrigue to the piece.
A hint at drug use perhaps? Brilliant!
